YFARM AND AGRIBUSINESS

YOUTH FARM (Y-FARM) CAMPAIGN
…establishing and promoting 10,000 Youth-led Farms across Nigeria by 2020

Youth Farm (Y-Farm) Project is a brainchild of Fresh & Young Brains Development Initiative which is a follow up action on the GROW Champions project implemented in partnership with OXFAM, Trust Africa and VFS with technical support from the Federal Ministry of Agriculture.
The project came as a result of recommendations from the Youth and women in Agribusiness online advocacy platform, National Youth Manifesto on Agric and the Weekly GROW Tweet Series

The Y-Farm Campaign adopts a two-pronged approach of promoting youth-led farms and the benefits of farming for sustainable livelihoods. The campaign is focused on amplifying youth voice (especially young farmers’ voice) to promote Sustainable Agriculture among the younger generation.
